Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc Loss Submission Form

The Gross Law Firm notifies investors that a class action has commenced in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts on behalf of shareholders of Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc who purchased shares of common stock: 1) between March 2, 2017 and February 22, 2019, inclusive; (2) in or traceable to the Company’s public offering conducted on or around April 28, 2017; or (3) in or traceable to the Company’s public offering of common stock conducted on or around May 7, 2018.

The filed complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period, the Company continued to tout the commercial prospects for selinexor and consistently described selinexor as having a “predictable and manageable tolerability profile” and a “very nice safety profile,” and assured investors that it was “well tolerated” by patients. Karyopharm also claimed that selinexor had the potential to be used as a new treatment for MM, with limited and manageable side effects. As a result of these misrepresentations, Karyopharm shares traded at artificially inflated prices during the Class Period.

If you wish to choose counsel to represent you and the class, you must apply to be appointed lead plaintiff and be selected by the Court. The lead plaintiff will direct the litigation and participate in important decisions including whether to accept a settlement for the class in the action. The lead plaintiff will be selected from among applicants claiming the largest loss from investment in the respective securities during the class periods. Members of the class will be represented by the lead plaintiff and counsel chosen by the lead plaintiff. No class has yet been certified in the above action. Appointment as Lead Plaintiff is not required to partake in any recovery.

Shareholders have until September 23, 2019 to request that the court appoint them lead plaintiff.
